My name Jonathan was given to me by my mom. She named me
when she saw a kid singing on a TV. show. His name was Jonathan.
My family says when I was a baby and was able to walk I
would leave to the ice cream truck. I’m the third oldest out of four. All I
remember was me getting what I wanted no
matter what. Best memories of
grandparents house was just talking to them and learning a lot about their childhood since our generation is so much advanced than their generation so it
‘s really fun to learn.
Next to my dad I’m the only guy out of three girls in the
family. I get what I want because my mom gets it since I don’t share
spotlight. At Christmas time we celebrate it big because we get family from
almost anywhere to come to our house and its really fun being with family you
don’t get to see as often as you like. Last year my godparents came from
Mexico and spend the Christmas vacation with us haven’t seen them in the
longest time, so it was fun.
I have lived in
Oxnard,
CA almost all my life except for when
I lived in colonia for awhile it’s pretty crazy out there. I love Oxnard
because there are so many interesting people to meet. Colonia is because a lot
of gangs out there u have to be watching what you wear and say. It’s not safe
sometimes and you would get hassled just because the gang members felt like
it.
The things I like about school are meeting new people,
learning new things, and it’s all free. I dislike homework, the yellow vests,
and some teachers. I participate in playing basketball out of school for
personal reasons. Also play football outside of school not for a team but I will
in college.
Math is one of my favorite subjects because I have always
been
good at it and I get it relatively easy. One class I dislike is Science. I
don’t know why; it would make me fall asleep and just never really liked it. I
have been given awards like improvement on grades and in sports: “MVP” in basketball.
I decided to go to Ventura College for my first two years
after my graduation because I talked to the football coach about playing for the
team, I already know the classes I need to take to full fill my
major in
business. My plans are getting a job and trying to become a full time student
for Ventura College then transfer to UCLA and finish my education in business
major. Anything that has to do with business interests me. I know its going to
be a struggle but I am prepared to give it 120%.
