The name Cory was picked on the spot the minute I came into
the world. It was the first name my father could think of; because at one time
Cory Hart was one of the singers he listened to.
I was born in
Oxnard,
California and I am the only child besides my step sister. My dad and her
mom parted ways before I got a chance to meet her, since then neither my father
nor anyone else know where she is. I live with my grandparents because
it’s the only place I can afford to live at, everywhere else I would have to pay
to stay. I been living here since I was probably about 15.
I am a
Native “American” white boy,
and proud to be Native
“American”. Because I am proud of my Native American heritage I do not celebrate
any holidays at all neither, do any of my family members.
Detroit, Michigan and
Oxnard, California are the only
places I have ever lived in my 18 years of life on this earth. Detroit was a
great place to live, multicultural and everyone was going through the same
problems you were.
Oxnard however is a place where no one here knows what you
are going through and everyone is different economic wise and personality wise.
The one thing I like about high school would have to be
being able to be friends with so many different types of people. The one thing
I dislike about high school is how this high school treats its senior class of
2008 with the messed up schedule for testing. I participate in the
R.O.P. TV.
/Video class. I participate in volunteer programs such as law academy and 15
minutes, also helping my little cousin’s softball team.
My favorite subject would have to be
R.O.P. T.V.
because that is one class I
actually know how to do almost everything in that class from shooting
to editing, also that’s what my career is
in right now. The only subject I have never liked was math for the fact
that every teacher I had in math had problems with me or I had problems with
them. I have taken
first place in many
paintball
tournaments, two golf tournaments, and a bunch
in swim meets.
I plan on going to
Oxnard College to get my AA in
telecommunications, and then go to
Ventura College to get an AA in criminal
justice, I choose them mostly because for one I want to become a camera operator
until I am 21 then train to become a police officer. I want to be a camera
operator because making movies is something that I am great in. Police force
because I want to protect the community which I grew up in.
