The name Robert was given to me
by my father. When I was born, I looked so much like him. He then decided to
name me after himself.
When I was born, one
thing that was unique about me was that I was born without crying. I was born
third in my family behind my big sister. I’m the middle child of five in my
family. I remember when my little brother was born, it meant so much to me
because I finally had a little brother and I wasn’t the youngest anymore.
My
grandparents and I get along like a puzzle; we could never be separated. One of
my best memories with my grandparents was when I moved to a different school in
first grade, my grandma stayed with me the until I felt comfortable and that made me feel good
about my new school.
Something unique about my family is that we go somewhere new every month and not
many people do that. One of are family traditions is on Thanksgiving, everyone
goes around the table saying what they are thankful for. My favorite memory of a
holiday was Christmas of 2002 when I got my first bike. It was the best
because it was given to me by my grandma and she’s gone now so it means
everything to me.
I have lived in Los
Angeles for three years, Fillmore for one year, and Oxnard for about ten years.
My favorite was Los Angeles because that’s where I met the coolest people I ever
met in my life and if I were to not have lived there, I would have never met
these great people in my life right now. I really didn’t like any city better
then the other because they all have taught me something special about life.
