My favorite hobby is listening to music. I can never get
tired of listening to the awesome beats and all the energy exerted through the
metaphorical vibes. Whenever I have had a tough day or even a good day, no
matter the situation I can always find a song that I can relate to and that is
uplifting to my soul. Not only do the beats release an indescribable vibe, but
the lyrics are also very meaningful.
Currently, my favorite music groups are
Binary Star, and
Jedi Mind Tricks. Their songs are not just any ordinary song with
meaningless lyrics. However, when they write a song they pour their heart and
soul into it. The symbolic words send a message to the listener that can be
life changing, to give one individual hope and advice for situations that they
may be facing. To me, anyone who can touch and influence a person’s heart just
by music and by words is everything.
I first started to really appreciate music
within the past few months or so. One day my older brother was listening to
music on the computer, I liked the way the music made me feel. Not only did
the music produce good vibes, but the lyrics were very inspiring. Basically,
that was the day when I discovered that music was not all just silly little
rhymes made up, but there was more message behind the beats.
For me, listening to music and writing poetry
is a way to express my emotions and feelings. Whenever I’m doing my homework,
on the computer, or just relaxing, I am always there with an
iPod in my hand, listening to music. Basically, I can listen to music
anytime, anywhere and it will always make me feel good.
